I have to agree with Lily Rose, having a "spiritual father" (*I would rather call it a mentor) which is basically some older guy that you can go to for advice is very nice, I had a couple of them myself, and i did nothing on my own, BACK THEN.
That is not necessary to have a walk with God, in fact, you are supposed to grow up spiritually.
I'll put it this way, you are not literally a flock of dumb animals (sheep).
Read Ephesians 4 again, and this time, don't stop after you read there there are APOSTLES AND PROPHETS., don't get hung up there, that is where Living Word stopped.
Read what they are supposed to do. Those guys are to bring you to maturity. I was a journeyman in a skilled construction trade, and I must have trained, well, God only knows how many apprentices. But they are all journeymen now themselves. I have moved on to other things, and NONE OF THEM call me up at home and ask me how to do their jobs. Just think about it.
